Cookies Policy
This is an informative translation. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
For the purposes of this Cookies Policy, Eventgoing (eventgoing.com and its subdomains) is also referred to as the Platform.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store in the user's browser. They allow remembering information about the visit, such as preferences or session status.
2. Cookies used by the Platform
The Platform currently uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for technical operation.
2.1. Technical cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| JWT (authentication token) | Keep the authenticated Organizer session active. Stored as HttpOnly cookie. | Session duration | First-party, technical |
| eventgoing_cookie_notice_ack | Remember that the user has already seen and closed the technical cookies notice to avoid showing it on each visit. | 1 year | First-party, technical |
| preferredLocale | Store the navigation language preference to redirect users to the corresponding language version. | 1 year | First-party, technical |
These cookies are essential for Platform operation and do not require prior consent under article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).
2.2. Analytics cookies
The Platform currently does not use analytics or tracking cookies.
2.3. Third-party cookies
The Platform currently does not include third-party cookies.
3. Local storage (localStorage)
In addition to cookies, the Platform may use browser local storage (localStorage) to save interface preferences. Local storage is not sent to the server on each request and remains until the user manually deletes it or clears browsing data.
4. How to manage cookies
The technical cookies eventgoing_cookie_notice_ack and preferredLocale are configured with domain scope so they can be shared across Eventgoing subdomains (for example, www, app and checkin), so the notice is not unnecessarily repeated and language preference is preserved across subdomains.
Users may configure their browser to block or delete cookies. Disabling technical cookies may prevent proper operation of the Platform, especially sign-in.

5. Modifications
The Owner may update this Cookies Policy if new cookies or tracking technologies are incorporated. Changes will be published on the Platform with the last-updated date.
If non-strictly-necessary cookies are incorporated in the future, user consent will be requested before installation.
